TIM BURNS: DEMOCRAT FOR OAKLAND COUNTY COMMISSIONER [DISTRICT 11]
Are you tired of politicians believing that science and facts don't matter? Sick of elected officials acting like school yard bullies? I am! That is why I decided to run for County Commissioner for Oakland County's 11th District which represent the communities of Rochester Hills and Troy. If you want an Oakland County Commissioner who will put PEOPLE before politics please vote for TIM BURNS.
I previously served as a Commissioner for the State Bar of Michigan, on the Oakland County International Airport Authority, as an Oakland County Parks Commissioner and as a Commissioner for the Oakland County Board of Commissioners (representing the cities of Troy and Clawson). For the last half decade though I've been out of the public eye focusing on parenting my kids and my professional career as an attorney. These uncertain times and along with unprecedented political animosity has spurred me to get back involved with the hope of helping to restore professionalism and integrity to public office. I look forward to the opportunity of making a positive contribution to our community as County Commissioner and hope I can count on your support in that task.
For more information about myself and my opponents please check out the Oakland County League of Women Voters candidate profile section for District 11. I believe this voter education resource really shows the differences between the candidates and our commitment to representing the Michigan communities of Troy and Rochester Hills. Thank you for visiting my website and I would appreciate your vote in the August 4 and November 3 2020 elections.
